3. Drafting and Revising
- Write rough drafts considering standards of order, clarity, style, and terminology. Review and revise drafts based on feedback from technical editors.
- Provide clear and concise explanations of complex actuarial concepts to non-experts.
4. Research and Analysis
- Study drawings, observe product operations, and conduct research through personal observation, library and Internet research, and discussions with technical specialists.
5. Illustration and Design
- Select photos or illustrations, arrange for their production, and may draw sketches or take photos to illustrate the project. Assist in laying out material for publication.
5. Technical Review
- Follow developments in the field to determine if published materials need to be revised. Read and review written information about projects, including manufacturers' catalogs and technical journals.
